The greatest water experience since the advent of surfing!
Paddleboarding, or Stand Up Paddle Surfing, is the newest surface water sport craze to sweep the country!
While virtually unknown on the mainland until just a couple of years ago, the Hawaiians have practiced this method of water transport for generations, calling it "hoe he'e nalu." Recognizing it as a quick, efficient, and practical manner of water travel, they use paddleboards to travel around and between their numerous islands. To this day, you can see native Hawaiians paddling around the islands on their boards.

Paddleboarding now makes its appearance in the Great Lakes region. Unlike traditional surfing, which is so heavily dependent upon having a heavy surf to propel your board, paddleboards require no such waves. Because you provide the propulsion with a paddle, a paddleboard is perfectly suited for use on quieter bodies of water such as ponds and lakes.
Which isn't to say that paddleboards can't be used in heavy surf conditions. To the contrary, in the hands of an experienced user, these boards are every bit as capable of riding waves as their smaller surfboard cousins!

Paddleboards are great additions to your boat outings, camping trips or beach excursions, and add a whole new dimension to your outdoor activities. Use them to travel between boats and islands, take a scenic water trip along the coastline, or just to have some fun on the water.
Great fun for the whole family, paddleboarding is a sport which can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Whether you are eight years old or eighty, you can grab a board and start paddling!

Besides providing endless hours of enjoyment and relaxation, paddleboards provide a great cardio and core body workout too. Improve your health and fitness while having fun on the water and in the great outdoors!
Paddleboards are practical and eco-friendly, as well. Glide easily across the surface of the water, leaving nothing but a gentle ripple in your wake. There is no fuel to buy, licenses to purchase, or emissions to pollute the air. It's just you, your friends, and the beauty of nature surrounding you.
Now you too can become part of this new water sport phenomenon. Grab a paddleboard and a few friends, and be among the very first to experience the beauty of paddleboarding in the Great Lakes region.
Pets are welcome, too!
